Their Elvis impersonator of 8 years gave his final show to a packed teary eyed house on Wednesday evening.
It was pretty much business as usual during Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but everyone was well aware the end was coming soon. A fountain of Bloody Mary and a fountain of Champagne greeted the party dwellers from Monday through the finish. Thousands of fans of the Ho from over the years (including myself) descended to the north end of the strip to say goodbye.
A bit of old Las Vegas died yet again last night when the Westward Ho property closed its doors.
